Recharge Your Body and Soul

Join us in the Piedmont region of Italy for an unforgettable week of challenging and restorative yoga. The retreat will provide opportunities for walks, hikes and casual cycling in the beautiful countryside of the Langhe and the nearby foothills of the Italian Alps bordering France. Recently designated a UNESCO World Heritage site, this area is renowned for its sustainable agriculture and delicious Italian cooking. The Slow Food movement was founded here. The native cooks take the movement to heart as they recreate their "cucina tipica Piemontese" in new and inventive ways.

Yoga and Meditation
The mornings will begin with a strong Vinyasa practice followed by breakfast. During the day we will guide you on cultural, historical and culinary explorations by foot and bike. Arrive home in the afternoons and relax by the pool before a late afternoon Gentle Flow and Yin session.

Wine and Dine
Barolo and Barbaresco are legendary wine names. Our arranged cellar visits and informal tastings will send you home with a working knowledge of this region's offerings. There are many excellent restaurants and trattorias within a short distance of your lodging. You'll get a chance to experience some up-and-coming chefs as well as time-honored establishments that exemplify Italy's culinary heritage.

Explore and Experience
We'll spend a day in Torino, perfect for cultural and acquisitive pursuits, pausing to join the locals in the main walking streets for an aperitivo - a pleasurable Italian pastime. Market days are a fact of life here, and there is always one to visit in a nearby town. The region's wineries host many open-air jazz and classical concerts in the evenings throughout the year.

Join us as we explore this remarkable slice of Italy!
